Trump Named the Mountain, Tucker Says Nuke, and the Senator Who Called It “Insane” Had a Stroke
I got out the corkboard and the red string, tested every dot, and pulled down the one I feared most. Basically, everything is still on fire.
A note from Lawrence
Tucker Carlson says the United States may be days from dropping a nuclear bomb on a mountain in central Iran, and I spent my Monday morning in front of a corkboard with a spool of red yarn. I know what that looks like. I pinned the dots up anyway and tested every one, because an honest dot-connector also pins up the boring explanation.
The first dot is Pickaxe Mountain, the tunnel complex near Natanz that Carlson names in an X post with more than 49 million views. His source is an unnamed “informed observer,” and his deadline for Trump to decide is November 7. Iran says there’s no nuclear work there. I follow the string through the rest of the board, pull down the dot I feared most, and end up where the subtitle says: everything is still on fire.
